Refrigeration field service technician — Indian River County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Indian River County, Florida. You will work in an AC and refrigeration showroom. You should have: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Day-to-day duties: • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
