Horticulturist wanted in Huntingdon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horticulturist in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a private estate garden. You should have: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Your main tasks: • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
