Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site labourer in Bartholomew County, Indiana. You will be based on a metro and infrastructure project. The role involves cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up. Requirements: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience.
