Elevator repair technician • Lowndes County, Georgia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Lowndes County, Georgia. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day-to-day duties: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Run load and overload tests with test weights Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
