Tig welder wanted in Sefton

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Sefton, England. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. £2,250 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
