Render and set plasterer • Jo Daviess County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Jo Daviess County, Illinois. Day to day you will set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge. Requirements: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • CSCS card or willing to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
