Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Warrington, England. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules 4+ years on the tools preferred.
