MIG welder wanted in Tama County

Join our team: we are hiring a MIG welder in Tama County, Iowa. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Your main tasks: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
