Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigger in Muscogee County, Georgia. Day to day you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
