Now hiring: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Martin County, Kentucky. Day to day you will boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. What we are looking for: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Accurate at weighing and following recipes At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
