Lifting rigger wanted in Ovia North-East

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Ovia North-East, Edo. The role involves: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Performance bonus on top of base pay.
