Bar bender and fixer wanted in Owen County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Owen County, Kentucky. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. On the job you will handle: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing 6+ years on the tools preferred.
