Great opportunity: ironing operator (Vermont)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Rutland County, Vermont. Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
