Stitching operator — City of Edinburgh

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in City of Edinburgh, Scotland. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Your main tasks: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes 1+ years on the tools preferred.
