Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Halifax County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious On the job you will handle: • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
