Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Avery County, North Carolina. You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Your main tasks: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
