What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards On the job you will handle: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Rotating shifts.
