Glass and glazing technician — Putnam County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Putnam County, Tennessee. You will be based on a high-rise facade project. What we are looking for: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Able to cut glass accurately to size Day-to-day duties: • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
