Immediate opening: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Catoosa County, Georgia. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. Your main tasks: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits.
