Panel welder • Carver County, Minnesota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel welder in Carver County, Minnesota. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Rotating shifts.
