Urgent requirement: escalator technician (Missouri)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an escalator technician in Saint Francois County, Missouri. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Your main tasks: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway What we are looking for: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Overtime paid at a premium rate.
