Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Daviess County, Missouri. What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces The role involves: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
