Heavy equipment operator — Queens County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Queens County, New York. On the job you will handle: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension You should have: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Full-time, day shift.
