Domestic gas engineer wanted in Deschutes County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Deschutes County, Oregon. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. You should have: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion You will fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
