We are recruiting: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Coles County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances On a typical shift you will work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger.
