Now hiring: we are hiring a wood machinist in Madera County, California. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. You should have: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
