Aluminium fitter — Beaufort County

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Beaufort County, North Carolina. The role involves check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing; crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine; cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw; assemble window and door frames from extruded sections; anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners; fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels. Ideal candidate: • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
