Port container crane operator — East Carroll Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in East Carroll Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. The role involves keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control. Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
