Join our team: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Lewis County, Tennessee. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Day to day you will fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile. What we are looking for: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
