System formwork carpenter • Livingston County, Michigan

We are recruiting: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Livingston County, Michigan. Day to day you will apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $5,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
