Trainee butcher wanted in Portage County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Portage County, Wisconsin. You will work at a halal meat counter. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Your main tasks: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience.
