Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment machinist in Hubbard County, Minnesota. On the job you will handle: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Ideal candidate: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Rotating shifts.
