We are recruiting: milling machinist (Montana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machinist in Beaverhead County, Montana. You will be based in a toolroom. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Your main tasks: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
