We are recruiting: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Stoke-on-Trent, England. You will work in a toolroom. The role involves: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
