Gas installation technician wanted in Effingham County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Effingham County, Georgia. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Driving licence for travel between sites The role involves: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
