Argon welding operator • Kidder County, North Dakota

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Kidder County, North Dakota. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On a typical shift you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
