Urgent requirement: sewing machine operator (West Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Pleasants County, West Virginia. You will work on an export house sewing floor. On the job you will handle: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
