Now hiring: we are hiring a container truck driver in Cross County, Arkansas. The job is at a container freight yard. You should have: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Valid digital tachograph card • Current Driver CPC qualification card The role involves: • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits 6+ years on the tools preferred.
