Join our team: we are hiring a garment machinist in Allen County, Kansas. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Your main tasks: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
