Now hiring: groundskeeper (West Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Hardy County, West Virginia. The job is at a landscaping company. On a typical shift you will dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades. Ideal candidate: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
