Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Collingsworth County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Your main tasks: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
