QC technician • Newton County, Indiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a QC technician in Newton County, Indiana. The job is at a food processing unit. Day to day you will escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges. You should have: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor 2+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
