Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination The role involves: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
