Urgent requirement: site safety steward (Oregon)

Join our team: we are hiring a site safety steward in Lake County, Oregon. What we are looking for: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills The role involves run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $150 per day, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
