Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Portage County, Ohio. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Day to day you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer.
