Gantry crane operator • Doddridge County, West Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Doddridge County, West Virginia. You will work in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Day to day you will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. What we are looking for: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
