Brick and block layer • City and County of Swansea, Wales

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in City and County of Swansea, Wales. The job is at a residential building site. On a typical shift you will erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one £2,450 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
