Now hiring: construction mazdoor (Scotland)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a construction mazdoor in North Ayrshire, Scotland. You will be based on a metro and infrastructure project. The role involves: • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days What we are looking for: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
