CO2 welder • Miga, Jigawa State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Miga, Jigawa State. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding 2+ years on the tools preferred.
