Vacancy available: concrete placer (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete placer in Yoakum County, Texas. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Day-to-day duties: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
